Please provide us a brief history of your company?
In June 2003, CamWeb Enterprises moved into solely offering web hosting and offsite data backup services, and emerged as the re-branded BrickHost . Andrew Campbell, company CEO, has over 7 years experience in the IT industry, ranging from web design & developing to web marketing and business development. Company COO, Bryan Lokstet has an extensive background in multimedia design and business image building. Both company officers bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the company. BrickHost offers high quality hosting services from the NAC data centre, backed by the corporate server farm in NW Ontario.

In ten years, the hosting industry will have had time to mature. The current race to the bottom, in terms of pricing, will have ended. Consumers will realize the importance of quality hardware and support, and will begin migrating away from bargain basement hosts, to those which provide a far better value for their dollar. You do get what you pay for, and unfortunately some hosting clients learn that the hard way.

What advice would you give to anyone starting his or her own webhosting company?
Write a business plan. A thorough business plan will allow the company to handle any problems or issues quickly and easily. There is nothing worse than needing to expand and having no strategy for growth, Our business plan was written and revised in a little under 5 months, and has since proven itself time and time again as a worthwhile investment of our time,

And finally, what was the recent book you have read?
I have just finished Upward Bound, which proved to be a very helpful collection of essays. I found the book to have greatly helped me with the new HR issues the company faces as we expand.
